In order to get the most out of life Christians should be asking themselves five critical questions every day. These questions will help them get back on track when they stray from God’s path for their lives. Also, if a Christian happens to have a good day and isn’t showing the obvious love for Christ in his or her daily actions and words, the five questions below will help them determine if they are over-celebrating or not thankful enough.
1. How can I show God’s love to those around me today?
If a person is asking this question it shows that they aren’t showing Christ’s love to others every day. The best way for people to know what God’s love is, is for them to see it through a Christian. People need to feel loved and valued by those around them in order to make it through the day with their spirits intact.
2. Did I touch someone’s life today?
If Christians answer these questions honestly, they will realize very quickly that a positive impact was made on the life of someone that they encountered today. The people that a Christian comes into contact with can be used to further God’s mission here on earth.
3. Am I showing gratitude to God for all He has done for me?
This question shows that the person asking it isn’t giving God the glory and thanks that He so rightly deserves. God is deserving of all honor, praise, love, and thanks for everything He has done for us through the gift of His Son Jesus Christ and His finished work on the cross.
4. Did I take time to stop and reflect on my blessings today?
If a Christian isn’t taking time throughout his or her busy day to stop and reflect on all of the blessings they’ve been given, it shows that they aren’t fully grateful for all that has been done for them. God doesn’t expect us to take His gifts for granted; He wants us to be continually thankful and praise Him through our words and actions.
5. Am I celebrating too much or not enough?
If a Christian finds himself or herself asking this question it means that they are over-celebrating in their minds. The results can be devastating when God’s people don’t celebrate correctly; His mission on earth won’t continue to move forward because the hearts of too many will become weary and drift away from God (which is happening more and more).
On the other hand, if a person is not celebrating like they should (and doesn’t realize it), then he or she needs to pick themselves up and put on an act that shows joy among God’s children; this will bring life back into the flock. When one sheep goes astray it affects all of the others so the more joyful the Christian, the better for those around them.
These are the 5 questions Christians must ask themselves every day and contemplate about. If this questioning becomes a habit, then you’re bound to get better days ahead!
