We all want to raise our children with strong Christian values, but there are so many different ways of teaching them about Jesus. Which is the best way? How do we know if it’s working? It can be hard to figure out what works and what doesn’t when you have so many options. In this post, I’m going to share 5 tips that will help you teach your kids about Jesus in a way that is effective and meaningful for them!

The first way is through prayer.

Teach Your Kids About Jesus: 5 Effective Ways

Prayer shouldn’t be reserved only for the church, you can teach children about Jesus by praying at home too. When we pray with our kids and ask God for things, they see that He listens to us when we talk to Him. Prayer is a great way to start and end the day, and it’s a good way to teach kids about Jesus because they can see that we have a close relationship with Him.

Prayer can also be a way to help kids when they’re struggling. If your child is having a hard time, you can pray with them and ask God to help them. He always listens and wants to help us, so prayer is a great tool for teaching our children about Jesus.

The second way is through Bible stories.

There are so many great Bible stories that teach children about Jesus in a fun and interesting way. You can read them stories from the Bible, or watch videos or movies that tell Bible stories. There are also a lot of great children’s books about Jesus that you can read to your kids.

Stories from the Bible will help children learn about who Jesus is and what He did. They will also learn about God’s plan for us, and how we can have a relationship with Him.

The third way is by going to church together.

The church isn’t just for adults! Kids can learn a lot about Jesus by attending church services with their parents. They can see the joy and happiness that people have when they are at church, which will help them want to go back. You can also talk about Jesus with your kids during the sermon – you might be surprised how much a child understands!

The community feel of a church can also be a great way for kids to make friends. They can meet other kids who have similar values and learn from them.

The fourth way is through Christian art.

There are so many great Christian artists out there who create beautiful art that teaches children about Jesus. You can find Christian art in books, magazines, online, and even in churches. Kids will love looking at the different pictures and trying to figure out what the artist was trying to say.

Christian art tells a story, and it’s a great way for kids to learn about Jesus. They can see how He is portrayed in different cultures, and they might be surprised by how many different ways Jesus has been depicted.

The fifth way is by living a Christian life.

Kids learn the most from watching us live our lives. If we are living for Jesus, they will see that and want to do the same thing. We don’t have to be perfect – in fact, it’s good for kids to see us mess up sometimes! – but we should always try our best to follow Jesus.

These are 5 of the effective ways you can teach your kids about Jesus. I’m sure there are many more ways too! What other ways have you found to be effective?
