God is Love

God is love. This is one of the most well-known scriptures in the Bible, and it comes from the book of John. In this verse, we see that He is not just loving, but He is perfect love. He loves us unconditionally and passionately. His love for us never fails or wavers. no matter what we do, God’s love for us is always there.

God is Omnipotent

God is also all-powerful. In the book of Genesis, we see that He created the universe and everything in it. He spoke everything into existence with His powerful words. He is the one who sets things in order and controls everything that happens. His power is absolute, and there is nothing He can’t do.

God is Just and Holy

Lastly, God is also just and holy. In the book of Exodus, we see that He is a righteous Judge who always does what is right. He is perfect in His justice and will not let anyone get away with wrong-doing. God is also holy, which means He is set apart from all sin and evil. He is perfect in His goodness and purity.

Final Thoughts

These are just a few of the many scriptures that tell us who God is. As we read these verses, we can see that He is love, power, and justice. He is also holy and good. When we seek to know Him, we can find comfort and strength in these verses. They give us a glimpse into His character and show us who He is. May we all seek to know Him more deeply through His word!
