What does the Bible say about Christians being around sinners? This is a question that many people ask, and there is no easy answer. The Bible does not explicitly say whether or not Christians should avoid them, but it does give us some guidance on the issue. In this blog post, we will explore what the Bible says about Christians and sinners, and we will also look at how we should respond to them.

The first thing we need to understand is that all people are sinners. The Bible says in Romans that “all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God” (Romans). This means that everyone has done things that are wrong in God’s eyes. We are all sinners, and there is no one who is perfect.

Christians are not exempt from this; we are sinners just like everyone else.

The second thing we need to understand is that Christians are called to love those who sin. In John, Jesus says, “Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you.” This means that even though we are sinners, we are still called to love other sinners. We are not to judge them or hate them, but we are to love them.

The third thing we need to understand is that Christians are called to evangelize sinners. In Matthew, Jesus says, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation.” This means that Christians are called to share the good news of Jesus with them. We are to tell them about the forgiveness that is available through Jesus Christ.

The fourth thing we need to understand is that Christians are called to disciple sinners. In Matthew, Jesus says, “Go and make disciples of all nations.” This means that Christians are called to help lead sinners to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. We are to help them grow in their faith and become more like Christ.

Final Thoughts

So, what does the Bible say about Christians being around sinners? The Bible tells us that we are all sinners, but we are still called to love them. We are also called to evangelize them and disciple them. Additionally, as Christians, we have a responsibility to reach out to sinners and help lead them to Jesus Christ.
