Psalm 23

The first Bible passage about fear that we will discuss is Psalm 23: “The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want. He makes me lie down in green pastures, he leads me beside still waters, he restores my soul. He leads me in paths of righteousness for his name’s sake. Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me. You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; you anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life, and I shall dwell in the house of the Lord forever.”

This passage from Psalm 23 is a beautiful reminder that even though we may be afraid, we need not fear because God is with us. He will comfort us and lead us through whatever valley we may be walking through.

Isaiah 41

The second Bible passage about fear that we will discuss is Isaiah 41: “Do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.”

This passage from Isaiah is a great reminder that we should not fear because God is with us. He will help us and strengthen us. We can trust in Him.

Matthew 14

The third Bible passage about fear that we will discuss is Matthew 14: “And Jesus said to them, ‘I am the bread of life; whoever comes to me shall not hunger, and whoever believes in me shall never thirst.'”

This passage from Matthew is a reminder that we can come to Jesus and He will quench our thirst and hunger. We don’t need to be afraid because He is the bread of life.

John 14

The fourth Bible passage about the fear that we will discuss is John 14: “Do not let your hearts be troubled. You believe in God; believe also in me.”

This passage from John is a reminder that we should not be afraid. We can trust in Jesus. He is with us and will never leave us.

Revelation 21

The fifth and final Bible passage about fear that we will discuss is Revelation 21: “And I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and the sea was no more. And I saw the holy city, the new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, ‘Behold, the dwelling place of God is with man. He will dwell with them, and they will be his people, and God himself will be with them as their God. He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain anymore, for the former things have passed away.'”

This passage from Revelation is a reminder that there will come a time when there will be no more fear, no more death, no more mourning, and no more pain. We can look forward to that day with hope because God is with us.

Final Thoughts

We hope that these Bible passages about fear have been helpful to you and that you will remember them the next time you are faced with your fears. Remember, you don’t have to face your fears alone, because God is with you. He will comfort you and help you through whatever you may be facing. Trust in Him, and He will see you through.
