Divorce is not something that should be taken lightly. Additionally, the Bible says that divorce should only happen in cases of adultery or if your spouse has abandoned you. If you have been divorced, the Bible does not prohibit you from remarrying. In fact, there are many verses in the Bible that talk about how God wants us to love and forgive one another. If you have been divorced, talk to your pastor or a counselor about whether or not remarriage is right for you.

The Bible actually has a lot to say about marriage. In the Old Testament, God established marriage as a covenant between a man and a woman. This covenant was to be sacred and unbreakable. In the New Testament, Jesus speaks about marriage in several places. He talks about how a man and woman become one flesh when they are married and that no one should separate them.

Final Thoughts

So, what does the Bible say about remarriage? If you have been divorced, the Bible does not prohibit you from remarrying. The Bible does not specifically prohibit re-marriage after divorce or the death of a spouse. However, it is important to consult with your pastor or a counselor before making any decisions. The most important thing is to make sure that you are following God’s will for your life. Thanks for reading and be sure to check back for more posts like this!
