When it comes to evil, the Bible is clear that it exists. In fact, it says that evil is a part of our world because of the Fall. Genesis tells us that when Adam and Eve sinned, they introduced sin and death into the world. Romans tells us that all have sinned and fallen short of God’s glory. Evil exists because we are fallen beings living in a fallen world.

One of the most common myths about evil is that it is caused by Satan. The Bible does not teach that Satan is the cause of all evil. Instead, it teaches that Satan is a tempter who seeks to lead us into evil. He is not the cause of evil, but he can be a source of temptation.

Another common myth about evil is that it is the result of God’s punishment. The Bible teaches that evil is not the punishment of God. Instead, it is the result of our own choices. We are responsible for our own sin and evil. God does not cause us to sin or do evil things.

Final Thoughts

So, what does the Bible say about evil? The Bible is clear that evil exists and that it is a result of our own choices. Satan can be a source of temptation, but he is not the cause of all evil. And finally, God does not cause us to sin or do evil things.
