The fact that Jesus Christ is the Son of the Father is something that everyone is aware of. On the other hand, because of this, we wonder: does the Devil have a son or a daughter? In the literal sense, no, the Devil does not have offspring, but there’s more to it than we realize. Let’s find out more about this topic by reading the article that follows.
First: Who Is The Devil?

Satan, often known as the adversary or the devil, is the opponent of everything righteous. Not only that, as well as people who strive to follow God as their leader. He is a spirit son of God who was once an angel “in authority in the presence of God.”
He has been with us since the beginning of time. But at the premortal Council that took place in heaven, Satan (or Lucifer) revolted against God. Since that time, Satan has made it his mission to wipe out the children of God on earth. Even worse, Satan wants to make them the son or the daughter of the devil.
The concept of free will plays a significant role in the fight between God and Satan. God has given every one of His children free will, which is a priceless gift and an integral part of His purpose for them. “sought to destroy the agency of man” was one of Satan’s primary goals in his rebellion against God (Moses 4:3). He said such words to them: “I will redeem all mankind, that not one soul shall be lost, and surely I will do it; therefore, give me your honor” (Moses 4:1).
The Bible says that Satan was successful in convincing “a third part of the hosts of heaven” to rebel against the Father (Doctrine and Covenants 29:36). As a direct consequence of their disobedience, Satan and his followers left the presence of God and were denied the blessing of having a physical body (see Revelation 12:9).
As a necessary component of our journey through mortality, Heavenly Father permits Satan and others who follow Satan to entice us (see 2 Nephi 2:11–14; Doctrine and Covenants 29:39). Because Satan “seeketh that all men might be miserable like unto himself,” (2 Nephi 2:27), he and those who follow him attempt to steer us away from doing what is right. He targets the most vital components of Heavenly Father’s joyful plan with the most vehement of his objections.
For instance, Satan strives to delegitimize Jesus Christ and the Priesthood, to put suspicion on the power of the Atonement, falsify revelation, confuse us from the truth, and undermine individual responsibility. He does all of these things to undermine individual accountability.
People don’t need to give in to the temptations that Satan presents. Each individual can choose to do good rather than evil, and the Lord has committed to assisting anybody who seeks His assistance by praying earnestly and remaining loyal.
Does The Devil Have Children?
Many individuals have pondered the question of whether or not Satan has offspring. There is not a single place in the Bible where the devil had either a daughter or a son.
On the other end, a human becomes a child of God spiritually speaking when they have repented of their sins and put their faith in Christ alone for their redemption rather than in themselves or any other means.
Those who have not put their faith in Jesus Christ are offspring of the devil, and they will be accountable for their actions. If God is not your father, then Satan must be.
What The Scriptures Say
The Antichrist is the Devil’s Spawn
“Don’t let anyone deceive you in any way. For that day will not come unless the apostasy comes first and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the son of destruction.” – 2 Thessalonians 2:3
“Then the devil, who had deceived them, was thrown into the fiery lake of burning sulfur, joining the beast and the false prophet. There they will be tormented day and night forever and ever.” – Revelation 20:10
The Unbelievers are Satan’s Children
“Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar and the father of it. And because I tell you the truth, ye believe me not.” – John 8:44-45
“No one who is born of God practices sin, because His seed abides in him; and he cannot sin, because he is born of God. By this, the children of God and the children of the devil are obvious: anyone who does not practice righteousness is not of God, nor the one who does not love his brother.” – 1 John 3:9-10
Satan Lies To His Offspring
“This great dragon—the ancient serpent called the devil, or Satan, the one deceiving the whole world—was thrown down to the earth with all his angels. Then I heard a loud voice shouting across the heavens, “It has come at last— salvation and power and the Kingdom of our God, and the authority of his Christ. For the accuser of our brothers and sisters has been thrown down to earth— the one who accuses them before our God day and night. And they have defeated him by the blood of the Lamb and by their testimony.
And they did not love their lives so much that they were afraid to die. Therefore, rejoice, O heavens! And you who live in the heavens, rejoice! But terror will come on the earth and the sea, for the devil has come down to you in great anger, knowing that he has little time.” – Revelation 12:9-12
How Does One Become One Of Satan’s Children?
There are both slaves and sons in Satan’s realm, as Jesus explains in John 8:31-47. Then how does one get from being a slave to being the son or daughter of the devil? Here are 12 surefire routes to Satan’s inner circle:
- You must train your ears to ignore God’s voice.
- Put an end to the voice of your conscience nagging at you.
- Put away your aspirations to live a better, more honorable life.
- Develop a sense of contentment with oneself that prevents you from wanting to better yourself.
- Continually defend your actions to yourself.
- Never confess that you are bonded to anything.
- Allow yourself to feel neither guilt nor shame.
- Rely only on your desires to motivate you through life.
- Don’t bother reading the Bible to find out what God has to say to you.
- Hold on to your biases, refrain from inquiring, and continue to evaluate people solely based on their outward looks.
- Never consider the evidence provided by the truth to be sufficient to persuade you to change your viewpoint.
- Do not let anybody uncover the lies you have come to rely on.
If you follow these steps, you will surely end up in hell as the son or daughter of the devil.
